Fall Education Series Informs Rotarians
This fall Rotarians once again turned to local experts to find out what's new in education. On September 13, Christine Bell, new Lake Washington High School principal, introduced Rotarians to the new school year, highlighting students and staff, describing the new facilities, and discussing how the Kangaroo team is adjusting after more than a year of remote learning.
On October 18, Dr. Matthew Colpitts, president of Ventures Academy, introduced Rotarians to the Academy, relaying how it was established and helps students to envision and build products, market and sell them, serve their customers, and exercise corporate citizenship.
Later, on November 15, Dr. Terry Macaluso will provide Rotarians an overview of the development of Eastside Preparatory School's reputation as a college preparatory school with a rigorous academic program.
